In this photo we begin to see the arrival and brutal invasion of the Spaniards beginning in 1532. The invador is represented by a monster of Greek mithology, the minotaur , half man - half animal. And indeed, this is a great representation of the Spaniards, as they came with monstrous brutality to invade and conquer a people. On the lower left, you see a Spaniard stealing a golden llama. To the Incas, gold and silver was an decorative element, and did not hold the value of wealth as it did in European society.
